So I've decided to give a little background on the game with this update

PhySphere (Physics Sphere) is a game I thought would add to the genre as really it hasn't been touched on (in my opinion at least) to much or at least with any success since the monkey ball franchise, which does still put out products, but the last one I experienced personally was on the GameCube. It was entertaining, it just had something about it that makes you want to keep playing, and from what I've seen so far with testers on my project it has that same quality.

Some of the older crowd that has played it have attributed it to marble madness (an old Atari cabinet game from what I've gathered), I've personally never happened across that game, but when I was told I looked back at marble madness and saw how it plays, and basically it's a 1.5d top down ball physics kind of game, which back then was probably absolutely stunning in how it played and it actually looked quite difficult.

This is my first project that I've put nearly this many hours into, I worked on a few things before this to get to the point of where I'm finally at in making something and letting others outside of myself really see it, and even play it. It's an interesting experience, seeing someone else play through days of work. I'm sure with games in the future this experience will not be quite the same as my first real game, so it's something I take in.

I've had a few online friends testing it as well, two of which have streamed on twitch while playing, and it was also a good experience. Watching how they go through a level, compared to how I envisioned people going through a level, it's just different. I like it, my levels I hoped were designed so that if someone wanted to do a level without doing it the designed way would at least in some levels be granted the ability too. Some levels even have more than one finish platform which allows the player to decide which way they want to try, and it's just so adaptive.

I'm hoping to have it for sale, (not through any major platforms, yet) on my blog through either a amazon purchase thing, or paypal, we will see which makes more sense in my case.

Thanks for your support!

Today wasn't a good day.

Today I received news back from Desura that my project, PhySphere was to simplistic to meet their qualifications. To simplistic.. I can't say that appeared anywhere on their guidelines for qualifications, let alone simplistic seems like it would be pretty bias on a person reviewing if they favor your game or not.
With that news received I've decided to start this page, as having somewhere for people to find me, my thoughts on the game publishing process, and developmental updates of PhySphere seems appropriate! Hopefully one of these days I receive some good news from a site( or site admin ) who actually would at least give it a try to see that the 30 levels I currently have isn't too "simplistic"

Til Tomorrow
